Terms and Conditions of Repair Bookings with ‘Tecworks'

• 1. Uncollected Goods left at Tecworks will be disposed of after 3 months from date of completion of/or rejection of repairs.
• 2. In relation to Manufacturer warranty, extended warranty and product care (PCR) (EPC) repairs, no fault found, general clean and service, consumables (including batteries), repairs deemed unrelated to manufacturer defect and not repaired, these will attract the minimum estimate fee which is payable upon collection or before return. The Minimum estimate fee will range from $66 through to $242 depending on the product. See PAGE 2 for charges schedule for your product.
• 3. It is the customer(s), customer(s) agent or relevant person/s acting with authority from the customer(s) responsibility prior to service, to back up the contents of your product which is capable of retaining user generated data, including any data you have stored or software you have installed on the device.
  It is possible that the data, on your device with data storage capabilities, will be lost during the repair process.
  Tecworks and/or its employees, agents or contractors will not be responsible for any damage to or loss of any programs, data or other information stored on any media or any part of the Desktop, Touchscreen All in One, HDD Recorder, HDD Camera, and other devices with data storage capabilities serviced or damage or loss arising from the Desktop, Touchscreen All in One, HDD Recorder, HDD Camera, and other devices with data storage capabilities, not being available for use before or during or after the period of service provided.
• 4. To the extent permitted by law, in no event will Tecworks and/or its contractors or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages (including any loss of profits, loss of anticipated revenue and loss of business) arising out of any goods or repair services provided by either party in relation to the Desktop, Touchscreen All in One, HDD Recorder, HDD Camera, and other devices with data storage capabilities covered by this notice, including delay in or failure to provide any repairs, and loss of data, programs and content on the hard drive and internal memory of the Desktop, Touchscreen All in One, HDD Recorder, HDD Camera, and other devices with data storage capabilities.
• 5. In relation to warranty and extended warranty repairs or replacements, the manufacturer or extended warranty company owns all the parts removed from your defective product and the original product that may have been replaced
• 6. Tecworks may replace the Product or relevant part with the same or equivalent Product or part. The above-mentioned Product or part may or may not be a refurbished Product or part.
• 7. By sending or leaving the device in for repair the customer(s), customer(s) agent or relevant person/s acting with authority from the customer(s) acknowledges any SD (Secure Digital), or removable data storage medium and/or Sim Card has been removed from the device and has not been left in the device or sent in with the said device which requires service. It is also acknowledged that all data, programs and applications (Aps) may be deleted from the device or any storage medium that is left in the device during the repair process.
